What is Ghiță?

Ghiță is an app for jobs around the home: you find the right tradesperson, verified by the Ghiță team, and get the job done. The offer and everything you agree on stay in writing, and you pay the tradesperson directly, with no commission.

How are tradespeople verified?

The Ghiță team approves every tradesperson account by hand, based on their profile, profile photo and ID, before they can send offers. Verification confirms identity, not trade licences: if your job needs one, ask for it in the chat before you accept.

How much does Ghiță cost me?

Nothing. Posting requests and receiving offers is free. You pay the tradesperson directly, at the price you agree with them; Ghiță takes no commission.

How do I choose between offers?

Each offer shows the price range, the tradesperson’s rating from their clients’ reviews, and the days they can come, if they’ve added them. You can chat with each before you choose, and Ghiță AI can compare them for you. Accepting one closes the others automatically.

Is the price in the offer final?

An offer shows an estimated price range in lei. You agree the final price directly with the tradesperson, and the conversation stays in writing in the app.

What jobs can I get done?

Installations (plumber, electrician, gas boilers, air conditioning, automation), repairs and services (furniture assembly, cleaning, appliances, moving, yard and garden) and construction and finishes (painter, doors and windows, tiler, roofing). For any other trade, you choose “Other”.

Where does Ghiță work?

In Cluj and Mureș counties, mainly in Cluj-Napoca and Târgu Mureș.
